PENAMPANG, SABAH – A Chinese labourer is lucky to have caught himself after falling one floor down from the fifth at a construction site, K Avenue, in Cybercity here.
As a result, Yao Shujun, whose age was not immediately known suffered from broken ribs in the 8.30 am incident.
Fire and rescue workers at the scene also reported injuries to the man’s head and legs.
District police chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim meanwhile confirmed the incident.
“The victim is now hospitalized at Queen Elizabeth 1 and is stabilizing…
“In the meantime we are awaiting for any police reports regarding to the incident,” he said in a statement.
