PENAMPANG, SABAH – Fire and Rescue workers had to don hazmat suits before catching a python this morning at Kampung Muhibbah in Putatan.
Even before entering they had to first seek permission from district police into the locality placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order.
Their 9.30 am arrival met with sanitizers in compliance to health safety protocols.
Penampang Fire Chief John Radsung said the team finally managed to wrangle the snake in one of the bathrooms.
“It was about two meters in length,” he said when contacted.
