KOTA KINABALU, SABAH – A 20-year-old Pakistani shop assistant here was arrested after sodomizing a 14-year-old boy.
City police chief ACP Hajiji Majinji said the 10.25am incident last Friday in Telipok began with a simple purchase of bottled water.
“As the boy was about to pay, the man coaxed his victim to enter the cashier area…
“The man took off the boys pants and committed the heinous act.
“After finishing, he gave the boy RM 5 as a gift and the bottled water free of charge,” he said.
It took the victim three days to lodge a police report but the man was arrested on the same day.
“The victim finally broke down and told his family members,” Habibi added.
The man is remanded under Section 377C of the Penal Code for committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature without consent.
If convicted, the punishment is a maximum imprisonment of up to 20 years and liability to whipping.
