BEAUFORT, SABAH – A 39-year-old man soccer kicked his 13-year-old nephew in the hip after he was awakened by the noise of the boy playing video games.
The 11:30 incident was noticed by the suspects younger sibling who was told “he didn’t kick me that hard”.
District police chief DSP Azmir Razak said the victim had been referred to the hospital for treatment.
“The victim’s sibling immediately alerted police after finding out. The suspect was taken into custody at 12.15pm today.
“He confessed to have taken drugs about three days ago…
Azmir said the man had a criminal record for drugs and gambling.
“He will be brought to the Magistrate Court for a remand to aid investigations,” Azmir added.
