LABUAN – Neighbors were shocked to find the body of a 24-year-old man hanging from a door frame in Kampung Pohon Batu on Friday.
The horrific discovery on the first floor balcony was made about 9.35am. Police responding to the scene found a makeshift noose.
Labuan police chief DSP Ibrahim Ghani said the victim was pronounced dead by Labuan Hospital forensics.
“No marks of physical struggle or injuries were evident on the body which has been sent for a postmortem,” he told the press.
It is learnt the victim made final contact with his family members on Thursday.
The case is classifies as ‘Sudden Death’.
