PENAMPANG, SABAH – A 33-year-old woman axed her housemate in the head over the lack of space at a housing area here yesterday.
The 11am incident saw the 24-year-old victim call up their landlady before alerting police.
District police chief DSP Haris Ibrahim said investigations revealed the assailant was infuriated she had to live with her victim along with another 40-year-old female tenant.
“The suspect was arrested in a raid near the housing area and the victim meanwhile was treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital for her injuries,” he said.
