KOTA KINABALU, SABAH – A rat trail duo’s second attempt into the country meets with the Royal Malaysian Army’s 5th Division.
The infantry’s special unit SERKAP caught up with the two Indonesian men about 4pm in Serudong, Tawau borders yesterday (Friday).
One of them did not get too far upon deserting their countryman when logistical support arrived leading to his arrest five hours later.
“Investigations revealed the duo aged 35 and 46 years to be estate workers in Kalabakan entering via an illegal route…
“They were taken to the Kalabakan police station for processing,” a statement from the Division’s Headquarters in Lok Wawi today said.
