RANAU, SABAH – Police detained a man who was “chasing the dragon” inside a parked car at a Kampung Lohan roadside here about 2.30 am yesterday.
District chief DSP Simiun Lomudin said a quick search on the vehicle discovered amounts of syabu sealed in straw pieces from a cigarette box.
“The 30 year old suspect was brought to the station and a urine drug test returned positive for metaphetamine…
“He is detained under Section 12(2) and 15 (1)(A) of the Dangerous Drugs Act,” he said in a statement today.
