LABUAN – Police found a badly decomposed male body and another that had just passed from suicide here yesterday.
The initial 9.50am discovery was on the beaches of Rusukan Island.
Labuan police chief DSP Ibrahim Ghani said the identity of the body clad in a tshirt and short pants is still unknown.
“No missing persons reports have been lodged so far…
“Anyone with information please come forward to aid investigation,” he said.
The body was sent to the Hospital for a post-mortem.
Meanwhile at 2pm a distress call relating to a suicide was received by the Fire and Rescue Department.
It was dead upon arrival for the 21-year-old.
“A noose was found tied to a tree and ligature marks on the victim’s neck…
“Both cases are classified as sudden death,” Ibrahim said.
